No Knee Velcro Strap

By adopting the new QMSS (Quick Motion Strapping System) and reducing the number of traditional straps down to a single (removable) strap CCM has reduced the weight and increased the responsiveness of the pad. The Premier 2 goal pad now only has 2 velcro straps in the calf portion of the calf wrap, as well as the traditional Velcro from the knee.

CCM has also done a great amount of work in the core construction of the pad. They have considerably thinned out the top portion of the thigh-rise allowing for considerably more freedom of movement. As well as thinning out the core of the pad, CCM has added their Litecore technology which features Max Rebound Technology to make sure those pucks are getting to the corners hard and fast while making the core 20% lighter.

CCM has adopted their slick SpeedSkin material into the Premier ll line to increase the speed of the slide along the ice. The material has proven to be just as durable as regular Jenpro with the added benefit of a much quicker slide as well as a slightly reduced weight.
